Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 8.5 update for the Galaxy F70e. The entry-level phone was launched with One UI 8.0, which means One UI 8.5 is its first major software update. It brings several new and improved features, updated stock apps, and a slightly refreshed UI design language.
Galaxy F70e gets the One UI 8.5 update in India
A new software update with firmware version E076BXXU2BZE3 is now available for the Galaxy F70e in India. It has a download size of nearly 3GB and includes the May 2026 security patch. The update could be released in other countries where the phone has launched over the next few days.
If you are a Galaxy F70e user and live in India, you can now check for the One UI 8.5 update by heading to Settings > Software update and tapping Download and install. Once the update files have been downloaded completely, tap Install now to start the installation process, which takes a few minutes.
What new features does the phone bring?
One UI 8.5 brings the ability to fully customize the Quick Panel. It also adds three new filters to the Camera app, more downloadable wallpapers, and additional lock screen clock fonts. The Weather app gets an improved widget and a pollen index feature.
The Galaxy F70e is also getting Direct Voicemail, weather effects for alarm screens, and a time zone converter in the stock Clock app. You can add shortcuts to specific Smart View devices to the phone's home screen. Samsung Health offers more designs for sharing your fitness and workout statistics.
The improved Device Care information screen now provides better battery information. The phone also gains Theft Protection and the ability to temporarily pause Auto Blocker.
Other additions include early alerts for reminders, tables in Samsung Notes, a redesigned New Tab page in Samsung Internet, and proactive suggestions in the Calculator app.
